Our Pagan Fun

Brody and his Kindergarten Teacher, he loves her.
Avery and her teacher, she is awesome.
Gracie, one of her best buddies, and her teacher...she is also very cool!
Gracie and her good friend, we love her.
Avery and her pal, who I can't ever get to play because her Mom doesn't speak English and Rob is never home to call her and talk to her for me!!
Brody making the rounds (with a kid he has hung out with a couple of times)...the kids go through all the classrooms first.
I helped with Avery's class so I was obligated to dress up :)
After the kids go through each class...they walk across this field.
And down this street...to the High School Stadium.
Where they walk around the track, twice...while the school librarian announces all the classes and plays funny Halloween music.  The whole community comes to watch.  It is one of the things I love about where we live.  It was such fun, we loved it!!
Gracie's latest brilliant idea...who needs clothes?

Playin' Hookie

Brody went hunting with Daddy on Friday and skipped school, woo hoo!
Chris (someone that Rob knows) shot an elk, so Brody got to hold the heart!  How's that for gross!!  That thing is as big as his head...do you think that elk had a great capacity to love with that giant heart?  Oh well, now he is dead!
When they were cleaning out the elk, Rob turned to Brody and said "they are going to do that to you when you die" and Brody said, with a look of disgust, "Well, THAT will feel weird."

Yet Another Hobby!!

So, we have now picked up beekeeping as our latest hobby...
Little Miss Gracie took pictures for me, because Chad (Rob's brother that lives on the other side of Rob's parents, who live next door) had on my bee suit.  She is decked out in the kid's veil and gloves...cute, cute.
Rob calls the bees his ladies...it is actually very cool and interesting.
P.S. Chad you look like a girl with your socks over your pants and my small veil on!
Then we drove down to Nicalee's to watch a little football (yawn) and eat delicious Chick-Fil-A chicken and chocolate shakes!
The Watterson's Car is NEVER dirty, I'm not even sure why we bother to clean it when the dirt doesn't even stick, because it senses our perfectness.
Gracie, put my camera DOWN! That's my you are being naughty, mom, face
We love driving to Salt Lake in the fall, the canyon is soo beautiful!
The kids get a little bored, but always find someway to entertain themselves...SILLY!
At least we entertain Daddy :)
We just love these family days...it is heaven when Rob is home from Pocatello.

7:33 A.M. Today

He is sharpening Spiderman pencils, in a superhero suit with sunglasses on.  I thought it was a little random for the time of morning...he started laughing when I took this last picture and said "I'm so funny, Mom".  He is so funny :)

Guess Who Came Up With This...

After school fun in the fall = playing with fire
Gracie is smiling because this was her idea, of course, and she knows she is getting away with murder
On a more disturbing note- Avery is obsessed with death and carnage as illustrated by her drawing, that I found on her floor this morning...Could it be all the death in our home? (As shown below:)

Dear Daddy,

The things I found in Brody's pocket...
Dear Daddy,
We missed you today, like every day...
We didn't do anything exciting, unless you count Mommy crying during a movie about two people in love...she is so lame.
I went to teach our friends of another faith the gospel, I even made myself my own missionary tag.  When Mom called them to have me come home for dinner, they called me "impassioned".

I told them a story from the New Testament and invited them to church...and to possibly get baptised!

Mom has been totally occupied with laundry, BORING!

Mom says to tell you that she is missing this.  She says that she misses your face, ewww.  You guys are so gross.  I can't believe I have to hear this stuff.  Anyway, we love you.

Sincerely,
Gracie
(the only one that DOESN'T embarrass this family)
P.S. Dad, you kind of look like you are going to eat Mom in that picture, could you take it down a notch in the future.  You are super embarrassing and my friends might see this.  Thanks.

As Commanded

This is how mine and Rob's conversation went last night (over skype).

Rob: Kris, do you have anything up tomorrow?
Me: Just laundry and house stuff, why?
Rob: A blog post would be nice.

TAH DAH!  Here is today, in a few boring pictures...
I went on a grueling 5 mile bikeride with my friend's two year old in a trailer.  My legs have not forgiven me.  On a self deprecating note, I went with a friend who does eighteen miles every day and races of 100 MILES...I am pathetic.
I picked up my son, off of the kindergarten bus...he never ceases to be a bright sunshine of a boy...even now while I type this he is walking around the house singing some random pop song.  He is such a lovey!
I miss him way more than I thought I would!
As I mentioned, the boy is a lovey...this is the two year old that my legs will never forgive.
I know this post is mostly about B, but he seriously brightened my day today.  So, then he ate some cookie dough in gloves, cause seriously, doesn't everyone?
Then we all did homework, practiced piano, whined extensively, and went to Navajo Taco night at our ward.  It was a very eventful day.
There's your post, so quit your whining!
We miss you, Daddy.
