Scapels and Me, by Kristine Watterson

So, I went into the dermatologist today to look at a funny mole that popped up on my right shin. Nope, nothing serious...just a scar from an ingrown hair. You know you are loving this post so far. Anyway, he wanted to shave it off and test it. I thought, why not get rid of the witches mole on the end of my nose that I have detested since I was thirteen? He said, sure! I ashamedly told him that I had cut it off with fingernail clippers six times. (What I won't due for vanity's sake) After he finished laughing, he told me it was possible it might grow back again anyway. I decided it was worth a try. I now am the proud owner of a dark red, perfectly round, raw spot on my nose. Did I mention I get to wear a really pretty, flesh colored bandaid? I am rockin this bandaid. Seriously, is it wrong to pray that the mole won't grow back? I hope not, because I already did.

You're hot! I wouldn't have even noticed the flesh-colored band-aid if you hadn't pointed it out. Glad you're feeling a little bit better!

How's the nose??? I have a mole on my nose too that is not my fave. I have always been scared to get it removed cuz I don't want a scar bigger than the stupid little mole.

I always thought you were perfect before; I don't know what you're talking about. Hope everything's healing well - and not coming back :)
