One busy weekend, part 2!

Then...after Avery's dance thing we went to lunch with my parents while the kids were babysat and then back to Heber for Forgotten Carols...
And the WORST seats ever!  That is why the seats behind us are empty, because EVERYONE is smarter than me.  I have never been in this place before, we always go to cottonwood highschool...
The next day my family came to dinner at our house...
And we played some super mean Just Dance on the Wii!  It was a riot.  I lost to my niece that is 10!
This was the best part, Rob can really lay it down!  It was a busy, super fun weekend!

One busy weekend!

Avery performed with her little group this weekend in Midway...
Gracie and Brody were really good sports about watching many, many, many dancers!
Rob had a look on his face the whole time (not this one, this one is just for the camera!) that screamed...GET ME OUT OF HERE!  It borders on painful for him to go to these things and it is ONLY for his love of his daughter that he attends!
When Avery came off stage, Brody took her arm and passionately proclaimed..."Avery, you did GREAT!"  It was a priceless memory.
And on our way home, this one snaked the camera and gave us this lovely.  Thanks Grace!

I'm Thankful for a day of Thankful-ness!

On Thanksgiving day we had the fun of going to both family celebrations.  We got to hang with most of our favorite people!  (Including the couple pictured above with their cute baby...it is Jacob and Emily, Rob's brother and her wife)
When we were waiting for Rob, the kids and I raced from the tree to the car, because it was SOOO cold!
They are such good kids!  I am loving this age, it is heaven!!
Then Daddy skipped to the car with Avery...
And it was endearing, so I kissed him :)
Then on to the Lowe's and some seriously goofy brother in law's and some delicious babies!!
I took somewhere around 900,000 pictures of my sister, Debra's, kids because I was so excited to have them for Thanksgiving...since they just moved from Florida!
It was such a fun day, I wish at least one day a week could be a holiday that involves family get togethers!!
My family always goes around the table with everyone sharing what they were most thankful for in the year...it was a common answer for all that family is the thing we are most thankful for!  Rob and I were both thinking along the same wavelength when we said that we are thankful for this year, because of his out of town work and how it has made our love for our own family and appreciation of it grow.  It has been such a blessing in disguise, to show my excessive mormon-ness!!
Happy Thanksgiving...Bring on Christmas!!

100 Chickens and a Worm

Just to make you miss them a little more, love you Daddy!!

Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah

Rob, how jealous are you?!  We had Emily and Ellie over today and really enjoyed them.  Gracie did her piano theory with El on her lap, so cute...
Ellie chased the boys around and did a little flirting
Gracie was in heaven, that girl needs some more siblings...stat!
I love that Ellie will let me kiss her to my hearts content!
Rob, I know how you want to be with this bit of deliciousness sans make-up, but try to resist me!  We enjoyed our "ladies only" day...hope you two are lovin' the sweet weather in Pocatello!

What I've been up to

I do not remember ever being in a Roadshow, and have not ever seen one...so, mine was pretty sad, but at least it's over!  I think the kids had fun and that's all that should matter, right?  This picture is my girls, I only had eight and sixteen boys.  They all did a really good job.  Ours was the shortest and in that is success :)

Goodbye October! (I know it is almost December, but I've been busy!)

Rob took this picture of his brother glassing (to use a very exclusive hunting term for looking through binoculars for animals), when they were hunting.  It makes me understand his love for his hunting time.  It is lovely, no?
And Halloween came and went, with a trunk or treat at the fabulous Wanship park.  It was a serious downpour, so we all sat at tables under the pavilion...kind of a lame year!  The picture above is my nephew Bear (Rob's oldest brother's son that lives two doors down)  and I finding our own amusement in the cold, rainy, and slightly boring trunk or treating!
Goodbye October, until next year!

Our Pagan Fun

Brody and his Kindergarten Teacher, he loves her.
Avery and her teacher, she is awesome.
Gracie, one of her best buddies, and her teacher...she is also very cool!
Gracie and her good friend, we love her.
Avery and her pal, who I can't ever get to play because her Mom doesn't speak English and Rob is never home to call her and talk to her for me!!
Brody making the rounds (with a kid he has hung out with a couple of times)...the kids go through all the classrooms first.
I helped with Avery's class so I was obligated to dress up :)
After the kids go through each class...they walk across this field.
And down this street...to the High School Stadium.
Where they walk around the track, twice...while the school librarian announces all the classes and plays funny Halloween music.  The whole community comes to watch.  It is one of the things I love about where we live.  It was such fun, we loved it!!
Gracie's latest brilliant idea...who needs clothes?

Playin' Hookie

Brody went hunting with Daddy on Friday and skipped school, woo hoo!
Chris (someone that Rob knows) shot an elk, so Brody got to hold the heart!  How's that for gross!!  That thing is as big as his head...do you think that elk had a great capacity to love with that giant heart?  Oh well, now he is dead!
When they were cleaning out the elk, Rob turned to Brody and said "they are going to do that to you when you die" and Brody said, with a look of disgust, "Well, THAT will feel weird."

Yet Another Hobby!!

So, we have now picked up beekeeping as our latest hobby...
Little Miss Gracie took pictures for me, because Chad (Rob's brother that lives on the other side of Rob's parents, who live next door) had on my bee suit.  She is decked out in the kid's veil and gloves...cute, cute.
Rob calls the bees his ladies...it is actually very cool and interesting.
P.S. Chad you look like a girl with your socks over your pants and my small veil on!
Then we drove down to Nicalee's to watch a little football (yawn) and eat delicious Chick-Fil-A chicken and chocolate shakes!
The Watterson's Car is NEVER dirty, I'm not even sure why we bother to clean it when the dirt doesn't even stick, because it senses our perfectness.
Gracie, put my camera DOWN! That's my you are being naughty, mom, face
We love driving to Salt Lake in the fall, the canyon is soo beautiful!
The kids get a little bored, but always find someway to entertain themselves...SILLY!
At least we entertain Daddy :)
We just love these family days...it is heaven when Rob is home from Pocatello.
